Slashing Services for Rural
and Acreage Properties
Atkinson Slashing provides slashing services across Mid Coast NSW for paddocks, blocks, acreage and overgrown land that needs fast, practical vegetation control. This is our main service and it covers both paddock and block slashing when the grass is too high or too thick for the zero turn mower. We also handle lawn slashing where standard mowing is no longer practical.

General slashing for overgrown land
Our slashing services are suited to paddock slashing, block slashing and broader rural property cleanup where land has become difficult to maintain. If your property is becoming harder to access or manage, slashing is often the smartest first step toward a more usable and manageable maintenance cycle. Many clients use a slashing-and-mowing approach: slash first to regain control, then move to regular mowing where suitable. We usually bring a line trimmer as well to help leave the completed job looking cleaner around boundaries, fence lines and detail areas.

Frequently Asked Questions
What affects slashing cost?
Pricing depends on block size, grass height, terrain, access, obstacles and the overall condition of the site.
When is slashing better than zero turn mowing?
For larger, rougher or more heavily overgrown areas, slashing is usually far more practical than zero turn mowing.
What makes your finished result look tidy?
We usually bring a line trimmer as well, so edges and detail areas can be cleaned up as part of the completed job.
What types of properties do you slash?
We commonly handle paddocks, vacant blocks, acreage, access tracks and other larger open areas where grass and vegetation have become hard to manage.
What should I send when asking for a quote?
It helps to send your location, approximate size, access details, current growth conditions and a few photos so we can understand the scope.
